Some groups even host fun events for members to enjoy.

Those with disabilities should attempt to understand as much as they can about their condition, and what services would best benefit them. If the disabled person is unable to do so, then friends and family can be very helpful in this effort. There are also professional advocates, counselors and others who can help provide the right services for disabled persons.
